Thinking about making a change to the truck in the wheel and tire dept....again. I'm sure I know what most of ya'll will say but I just have it in my head that it screams "high school kid" truck for some reason.

From this.....

I've been hounding my friends about it for the past couple days but thought I'd throw it up here to get some input.

To be honest with you, I kinda dig it. Not sure how it'd look with ptm bumpers, but I think it looks good. I've thought a lot about going back to stock wheels on mine for various reasons, but factory 20's > factory 16's

I've often thought the same thing as you are now with the looks of my truck. However I have came to the conclusion and said "fauck it". It's my truck and I along with others like the looks of it. I think that if things are tastefully done it make a huge difference.

If I were you I would change the tires and add a little rake to your truck. Maybe a inch or 1.5 inches. I like the way a truck looks with a little rake and I've never been to excited about the looks of a m16 tire. Just my opinion though.

Just do what you like, who cares what others think. You're truck looks great the way it is. Plus a baby seat in the back kinda ruins the "high school kid" look anyway.

I still think you're just bored with it. If you like the appearance(i sure as hell do) the thats what counts. I know my truck looks like a guys that would have white sunglasses, but I'm ok with it. I see what you're saying with the high school kid truck but the one thing I didn't like about my truck with factory wheels is they didn't stick out quite enough. They need to, to give it the tough look I want, and I'm assuming you like or you wouldnt have bought the 12" wides. To me, maybe you need to just go to a more tame wheel in chrome. I think the factory wheel will be too far in the opposite direction.

Not now days, some high school kids even have 2 or 3 baby seats in the back seat LOL

I like both setups not sure which one actually looks better, I'd say either way, but I personally would probably just leave it how it is now.

I personally would change it but I've never been a big fan of black wheels or tires that don't fit the truck and stick way out, plus the stocker look is a much tougher as in capable look.

I gotta admit that first shot makes everything look really good though and not like the tires stick a mile outside the truck, tough choice either way I think you win.

they don't really stick out all that much....about 2" past the fender. I've always thought nice tires on stock wheels looks tough BUT the tires and wheels I have on it now make it look different. still a tough call!

My vote is keep the wheels...different tire.
