Well after lowering the 09 and going from 35" open countrys to 32" 420s and 5" above stock to 2" below stock I noticed that the way the truck drives is completely different...Going 70 the rpms are riding at 2K all the way, I am not sure if this is normal or not but on the 35s iirc its never use to ride that high to the point it starts crackling(exhaust). Its almost like I need another gear or something. The truck is a dd but a weekend street truck also so I am not sure if I can have the best of both worlds or not. On the mini maxi I have shift points set to medium and the tc locking in 4th and 5th. If anyone can give me some hints or things to try that would be very helpful.

Those results are probably about right. If your looking for lower rpms with the current set up, may look into a gear swap or raise it back up on 35s. Jmo. I know mine crusing at 72 I'm turning 1800 rpm and I'm lifted on 35s.

I am not going raise it up again 3 days later lol. I just know a lot of people have the same setup and I don't think they are having the same problems I am.

Any time you go to smaller tires it's gunna take more Rpms to turn that tire the same amount of times as it would a bigger tire, if you wanna change the rpms it cruises at that would require a different gear set
