Right now on my truck I am running 37" Toyo MT. I like the way that they are waring but maybe looking to go down a tire size. We have a pop-up truck camper that sits on the truck most of the summer that weight's 1700lbs. loaded. So not a lot of weight. The 37/13.5/17 Toyo's are a E load range that can carry 4300lbs at 65 psi I belive. If I go with 315/70/17 Duratrac's they are 3195lbs at 50psi load range D.

So if I go next size down will the tires handle the load?

Is there another tire size or tire that would be better?

Thanks

I've been shopping for tires since last summer and finally got 4+1 Toyo MTs. I hear 95% great things about their wear and ride, the other5% doesn't like them. Those are decent odds that they'll work.

They have a great load rating and if you want better then go 19.5s. From all the #'s I've seen I'd say that the toyos' had the best #'s. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Had a pro-comp w/ 3100 rating develop a bulge really bad.

Thanks guys, I do like the Toyo so far. I was wondering if D load range would hold up to the weight in the bed of the truck or would it were the tires out quick? Also I was thinking about going more with an all terrain vs more of a mud just for the fact of snow driving. I haven't driven the Toyo MT in alot of snow so I am not sure how they will do.
