I'm looking at getting some 35/12.50/20 All Terrain tires to put on my stock king ranch wheels. My truck Is my family, work, ranch, and hunting truck so I need a good all around tire. I have had pro comp xtreme all terrains before and loved them but just wanted some opinions on what other good tires are out there. I need a tire that will go at least 35-40,000 miles. I can't afford to be buying new tires every 20,000 miles.

I just got the new BFG rugged terrain and like them. They look a little more like a highway tire but I like them much better than my BFG A/T. They seem to have decent traction on and off road to me.

I had the Nitto Terra Grapplers on my F250, and they wore fairly decent. When I sold the truck, they had around 25-30k on them, and probably had another 5-10k to go. I drive with a heavy foot, and pull car trailers from time to time, so they saw a fair amount of abuse and held up fine. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the fact that they didn't clean out all that well in a wet pasture. I had to pull a buddy out that was being retarded in his dodge, and they loaded up with mud pretty quick. For a primarily street driven truck, I would reccommend them.

Mickey Thompson ATZ, nitto terra, or General Grabber. every BFG AT we've ever owned was crap on heavy trucks. and Nittos don't impress me in the mud. but that's every tire. all seem good in snow, quietness, and mileage

I've ran atz's on my dully ever since the factory set wore out and have had good wear out of them. My brother bought a set of cooper stt tires and they seem to be doing really well too

I love the atz look and found a set on Craigslist for 800 bucks guy says only has 2500 miles in them but I don't hear a lot people saying how long they are good for which tells me they aren't very reliable mileage wise. I think I'll be sticking to the pro comp xtreme ATs

Cepek FC IIs are pretty decent for longevity with the ones I've run, quiet and good traction but didn't clean out worth a crap in heavy clay mud. Running PC Xtreme ATs now so I'm glad to hear some good reviews.

I don't want to thread jack, but since this is a generic 'tires' thread I figured I'd ask. What do you guys know about the Super Swamper M16's?

They suck to balance, we had a set in here that a previous tire company put over 200 ounces between the 4 tires to get them balanced and they still werent right.
