I have never used my Tow/Haul mode when pulling - 2022 F250 6.7 10spd. Is this something that is recommended? I had a unique qerk happen yesterday, I was pulling roughly 6k and was pulling a hill and truck fell on its face. It wouldn't downshift or anything just stayed in 2nd gear to pull this hill. Anyone have anything similar happen?

the computer was probably using the inclinometer (hill angle) and your speed and kepted that gear. Using the tow/haul modes will give the computer more information for consideration. On my 2020, I can preprogram different trailers/campers. So, the first time will be tedious to input the information, after that you just have to select that setup.

Just kick it down into first on your own next time that happens. They won’t down shift to first on their own. Not sure why it would have a hard time pulling a hill with 6k on the back in second unless you almost stopped on the hill.
