Hey guys and gals I'm new to the 6.0 section I just bought an 07 F-550 I want to make it my tow pig just looking for some insight into what I should do/need to do so this truck is a reliable tow vehicle. I'm starting with studs and an egr delete but I don't know where to get it or which one works best? Any help here would be great. Thanks

Check out the vendors on here. They can hook you up with everything you need!

If it were my truck, I'd do the following:

1. Studs
2. EGR delete
3. SCT with tow tune
4. Gauges
5. Clean stock turbo
6. Ported intake manifold
7. Delta kit

If the truck is going to be a dedicated tow rig, keeping power levels near stock with stock turbo and injectors are going to be your best bet. Biggest thing is keeping up on maintenance and using good oil. Have fun with it!

everything he said is a good idea along with all the upgrades to the high pressure oil system while your there.

If your not wanting to do headstuds yet, atleast the egr delete, clean turbo, and update the stc fitting on the high pressure oil pump if it hasn't been already.

As for vendors you can't really go wrong, but i usually go through absolute performance, great products and great customer service.

Is the truck stock? Countryboy has it down pretty good. How's the trans?
