Hey guys! Been thinking about pulling out my leveling kit and super springs and lifting the truck a little more. Just wanted some feedback on how this would affect my towing. I pull gooseneck pretty often so I don't want to mess that up. Any suggestions on height or a good kit. Also want to put on some traction bars. Front and rear??? Thanks yal

alot of guys will tell you not to go higher then 4" lift if you are towing. I'm sure there are some with have done it higher but you'd rather be safe then sorry.

4-6 inches and you should be fine. Anything over that is pushing it. You can allways adjust the neck on you goosneck though

I tow all the time with my truck lifted 8" and on 38's with no problems. It's all about getting it set up right. I had my gooseneck built to the specs of my truck so that I wouldn't have any problems with it.

5.5" lift on 36's and tow all the time. Set up the gooseneck right and no issues. Even put a small lift on my 5th wheel camper (still need to add about 2 more inches to make it perfect)

I think.superlift.makes a 5 and a half inch lift. Only one I can think of.

I.towed with a 6" and 36" super swampers six months after my truck.was purchased in 2000. Did it for 240 some odd thousand before I finally got rid of my gn and skid loader. Stock trans lived.through it. It wasnt until I put a 38r and custom tuning my.trans exited.

I know I can't pull a gooseneck. But 14" of lift and bumper pull no problem at all. Just got to make sure you have a brake controller and for me a nice well built drop hitch.... LOL

I don't have a huge lift but I can tow very well with my Icon 3.5 inch lift (2.5 inch coils and a TEI spacer)

My advice is to use a SKY, Hard Knox or Precision Metal Fab reverse shackle kit to convert the front to use Super Duty front springs. The brakets plus stock SD springs give you 2.5". So from there any front SD lift spring will lift you the advertised plus 2.5. Ikon 4" would give you a nice 6.5" lift that rides close to stock SD.

I pull my gooseneck all the time on my 08 with 6inch lift, and my 95 has a 4 inch rough country lift on it but its a really tall 4 inch lift. I think they sent me the wrong springs, but anyway I adjusted my trailer to clear the sideboxes on the 95 and it does great. I have had 20k+ on her several times. I think yu are fine up to 6 more with it setup right.
