I think I saw a Dorman replaceable module, but I would not use anything from Dorman.

Ok all I can find is stuff for non adjustable pedals or $599+ pedal assembly gonna try some contact cleaner hopefully that help.

Did get a code I believe it was po122

Would a junk yard pedal be worth a shot for the right price

Absolutely.

Think I'm gonna have to try this route

Get rid of the yuppie pedals...

Would love to but they make for a lot less readjusting after the wife drives it

That pretty well sums it up.

Thanks for the replies guys

well got a pedal from the junkyard plug it in and the truck won't start, the wts , cel , check gauges, the battery lights all stay on. Talked to a parts guy at sunrise and he said it should work as long as the part# is the same which is
9F836. then he said only the pedal from an 02 or 03 will work, so heres my question.
Is there any year specific parts to a part#?

my pedal: 2034 9F836-DD
D074.02 C54

junkyard: 3C34-9F836-BF
D182.04 B48

the part# for a 2004 6.0 adjustable accelerator pedal is also 9F836

The 9F836 is the base part number. The first 4 numbers are year/model series (F series, E series, etc, etc). The last letter (s) are the revisions.

The numbers you posted are engineering numbers.

The dealer should be able to cross the engineering numbers to part numbers.

thanks
According to this my pedal is for a 02 the junk yard pedal is for and 03
both for a medium duty truck from vehicle center 4. I guess its just a junk pedal.
