trading rear leaf springs

i have a 2005 2wd f250 and my dad has a 2012 f250 4x4.

He wants more leafs for towing and i want less to lower my rear.

Are they swappable?
Does anyone know?
Would it lower my truck?
Also would it lower or raise his??

No, his are longer.

Although they make a conversion for your truck, but they will not swap.

If you want fewer leafs, you can remove one. I don't know exactly what the consequences (poor handling, no towing, etc) would be, but you can do it.

lol its cool i have 6 leafs the overload removed still gives me 2 more than my dads 2012 f250
