My Nephew has a 2000 SD 4x4 CC. It has a rebuilt Jasper tranny in it.

The tranny seems to be working fine but wants to over heat.
He's planning on changeing the fluid and filter.
What type of off the shelf tranny fluid should he use? Mobil 1?
I use shaffers in my BTS but may be a waste till we find out what the problem is.
I also let him know he could update the tranny cooler to the 6.0 or V10 cooler.
So what type of off the shelf fuild should he use?
