I have a few questions about removing my trans cab on.
Anyone happen to know how long it takes to pull one?
Does the transfer case come with?
Do you need to replace the flex plate bolts?
I hope someone can help me, and or post up some tips.

easy to do in the driveway. I've had my out twice in the last month. A second set of hands is helpful as that sucker is heavy. I removed trans and transfer case all as one.
Flex plate bolts are one time use, cheap at Ford dealer.
Its pretty straight forward, just mark the drive shafts for alignment and make sure you have all of the connectors off, there is one on the top that's hard to see. Main harness on pass side has a 10mm bolt keeping it on.
Any questions just shoot me a message.

Anyone happen to know how long it takes to pull one? -took me a day to pull and replace my first go around w a 5r.

Does the transfer case come with? -I pull tcase first after marking drivelines etc.

Do you need to replace the flex plate bolts? - only if I replace flexplate but I do use new flexplate to converter nuts.

Hope that helps a little.

Twice in one month? Converter changing/issues?

Thanks everyone that helps out. When I go to mart my driveshafts when I put it back in, do I just rotate the "hubs" on the case for it to line back up?
Another thing I have to rotate the crank in-order to undo all the bolts?
And when I tighten is their a sequence and what's the torque rating?

I believe 35ft lbs both trans to engine and converter to flexplate.

Edit- yes, rotate crank pulley. Grab a buddy to help, feed him a ribeye and a beer lol. Lastly I'm a alldata nerd, helps me with my various side projects specs and procedures.

sorta... I'm about 6000km on a new build. Just did an oil change and then thought I heard rocks in the bell housing. Figured it was a converter so I did that. Fired her up and same noise, so I thought flex plate must be cracked (looked ok when I did the TC). New flex plate and same noise...turns out I have the 6.4 tick...some tick!
Bright side it seems to have gone away with some miles on the oil, and I have a new billet TC and flex plate :)

I don't think I saw an answer for your question unless I missed it but yes, you gotta rotate the crank to get to all the converter bolts
