Can anyone give me an idea of what is needed to replace the transfer case shift motor? Mine is bad and I would love to get it replaced before I head across the wasteland that is Kansas...

From what I remember it was just a couple of bolts and a wire harness. Sorry I can't be more help it has been a while since I changed mine. But what I remember it was not hard.

I did mine in my driveway. That is the only reason I say it wasn't that hard.

It would appear so. Had Phil Long check it out (with a free coupon) and they indicated it is the shift motor. Planning on replacing it this Friday and see what happens.
