There's a clip that attaches to the transmission lever- how do I remove it? Looks simple like a wiring harness type. Do I just pry it off?

Brake cable- Do I need to grow some nuts and pull the cables together to get it off the connector? Seems like there's a stop on there and won't move past a certain point.

Thanks for the help.

Shift linkage at the trans, pry them apart, it's a ball and socket. The brake cable is a PITA, I pull the cable to get some slack and use vice grips to keep it from going back in. Then use an air hammer to push one of the ends towards the center of the clip.

spun the cable and connector around a bunch. just came off after pulling it together. prolly just dirt collected in there. there is no flat side.
