transmission fluid change

Its time to do a fluid change on my trans. I have a job one with the extra external filter. Do i need to change the external filter along with the pan filter? And how much fluid is needed for a drain and fill? Thanks in advance.

You need to change the external filter, not the internal one. You will need 6-9 quarts if you are only changing what's in the pan.
