Ok so this morning I was on the way to work went around a curve and when I went to accelerate out of it, it rev slammed and couldn't seem to find a gear. The wrench light came on and it wouldn't go past second gear. I pulled over turned the truck off and back on checked for codes (none) and it ran fine the rest of the way. I took out the 345 tune when I got to work and loaded 210 tune and it is absolutely flawless again. Has anyone had an experience like this? My truck has only 54k and is still under warranty should I be really concerned enough to return to stock and take it in, or was maybe just a communication error with the tcm. Seems fine now.

Its the 345. Mine did the same thing. Swapped plenty of tunes and it hasnt done it in any others. Its only around curves. It was weird.

Mine has rev slammed once or twice in the last year (spartan 275 or 300)and it was always when I let off going around a corner too. I limped mine once while trying to get it to learn the 310 tune and after I changed tunes it hasn't had a problem since.

Brother in law had this happen to his truck; spartan tuned. Spartan said there is a common wiring harness problem in the 6-4's. Spartan sent him a new dashdaq, and it seemed to solve the problem for a while. Happended again, and he had the harness replaced. Been running great since. I want to say about 20k miles on the harness fix.

I had mine rev slam the other day on the EL 275 tune. Noticed when I took off from the next stop that it was in 2nd or 3rd(limp). No codes or anything. Once I restarted, everything was normal.

I have probably 15k on that tune several rev slams before but never acted like that. Had me worried when it happened, but i've ran about 300 miles since and nothing abnormal at all. Thanks for the input. Gonna load it back up and see if it was just a fluke.
