Yes you can mix. The SP is what originally was used in the 5R110...but a couple years ago they announced that the LV fluid was gonna replace the SP...and that they are both compatible with one another and can be mixed. Some dealers sell both the LV and SP....some only sell and use the new LV fluid. If you were to have a tranny service done...the fluid would be LV not SP.

If your vehicle came with lv you have to use lv you can not use sp but if it came with sp you can use ether.

I dont know about you guys, but SP is still readily available anywhere I go.

There's a 20 page thread over on the .org going on right now that Ford MIGHT and I stress might have changed their minds about LV working in the torque shift.
