So i was running quarter miles back in April and blew my trans after 15 hot laps... lol. So i saved up and after about 2 months i had enough to get my trans built. I brought it to Herm's high performance up here in southeast wisconsin. I was reffered to go to him from ACE worldwide. I was garunteed a 3-4 day turn around to have the trans fully built. Long story short i didn't see my trans for a month. I finally got it back, installed it and went 30 miles before it threw codes. The torque converter is not locking up and i don't know why. The guy doesn't want to try fixing it or give me my money back so i told him i will see him in court. I was told i was getting a triple disk billet tq converter, i got an auto zone dacco converter after looking up the part number stamped on the converter. In the mean time I'm trying to figure out whats wrong with the trans, why is the converter not locking up? what would cause that? it slipped so bad into second i thought i dropped a driveshaft. it has serious problems. any advice?
