Tried to take a video but I think it kinda sucks... skip ahead to 40 secs

Truck cuts out at idle after a cold startup. CEL is on until it cuts out, then it goes off. I know I need to find a scanner (my cheapy won't pull the code), but wanted to see if I can find ideas first. The quality of the video isn't the best, but the whole truck shakes when it cuts out and sounds like it almost wants to die for a second. I'll see if I can get an exterior video soon. It only does it after a cold start. Every warm start all day after it is fine.

My 01 does that too. Couldn't see the vid, but on a cold start, around freezing and below, it will start, idle and then die. Few mins later you can start it again and it will do the same. After a few times it will stay running. When it is dieing ICP drops down and down till it's too low to run.

It was 85* when I took that video. Call me crazy but I think glow plugs are unnecessary.

ICP appears to be reading fine, at least according to my Isspro gauge....

Truck has 156K miles on it.

No youre not crazy, you dont need glowplugs to start in warm weather. Find someone to scan your truck already! Lol

Working on it! Trying to find somebody local. Took another video today, skip ahead to 30 secs

Apparently I need to hold my phone sideways when videoing...

Got it scanned finally...

P1280 Injector Control Pressure Circuit Low
P1211 Injector Control Pressure Higher/Lower than desired

Sounds like I have an ICP or HPOP issue.

clear codes and rerun again. you can show a 1280 just from unplugging the sensor. Go in the library and look up the HPOP manual-- it has a lot of troubleshooting suggestions and explains the HPO system.

I'd check the ICP sensor for oil then unplug it and see if it still does it.

Then I'd look at the IPR.

Ok, checked the plug real quick today while I was changing the oil on the Edge... There is oil in the plug. Didn't get to pull the sensor.
