Truck did some work this weekend...

I went to a pull with a couple friends of mine this weekend and had my truck all loaded up on the trailer and was meeting them at a local fuel station. When they came pulling in their tow rig was missing like crazy!1 We poped the hood to find a lot of blow-by coming out of the engine like it split a piston. Long story short we ended up unloading my truck off the trailer and towed his pulling truck to the pull with mine! I went ahead and pulled the sled and ended up doing fairly well! I hooked back up to the trailer and towed his truck back home. BTW, he broke and I ended up putting 50ft on him! :thumbsup:

Yeah, me, Steve and Damon reping the crew cab OBS powerstrokes!! There was a Swamps truck there too that was a regular cab OBS.

dang a 11.93? how big of a shot are you running? stock rods? i have the same setup less a hpop thats qualified at the moment and no nos

.74 jet. It should have been faster but it keeps pulling RPM on my OBS. The only way to fix it would be a PCS and 4R100 so Ill just stick with the 1/8th mile!

sure it wasn't a green extended cab with swamps down the bedside?

Maybe? Im terrible at remembering! I did not get a video of his pull for some reason either, not sure what happened to the go pro but its not on there. It looked like a strictly pulling truck, had some clutch issues it looked like to me (bunch of sparks all the way down the track from under).

Well that sucks. It was a good pull, lots of people there too. I really like pulling in the open classes, the pulling rules are a little ridiculous these days IMO.

thats what im talking about Matt, way to show so boyz up. How many dudes can say they towed a rig there, pulled with the rig pulling the trailer and then towed the pulling rig home? Not one i can think of lol
