I have an Innovative tuned ficm from an '03 F250. Can I just put it on my '05 F350 or does it need to be tuned to my truck? I'm running the Innovative XTreme Race tune in my truck if that makes any difference.

Hey Danny, if you reprogram with it instaled it could erase the performance tune out of it. If it were me I would install the stock ficm and then reflash the pcm to current. the new flash will probably be bettier for the FICM.

You can run it Wont hurt anything.

Jason changing tunes with an SCT wont have any effect on the FICM.

But if the truck were to go to the dealer for a reflash yeah then I would put the stock ficm back on otherwise he will lose the custom ficm flash.

lol, yea I ment to say the reprogram from a dealer. it will erase the tune in the ficm. The sct wont hurt it. When ever I change a ficm I reflash the pcm and ficm together unless the ficm has a tune in it. then I try to use a stock ficm to bring the pcm up to date. i'm running a tuned ficm and a sct on mine.

Danny, it'll work. FICM tuning is seperate from the custom SCT tunes...and don't need truck specific. My moderate FICM from ID with my mods will work on any truck with any mods done to them...even under stock PCM/ECM tuning.
