And I will say it surprised me how well it spools!!! I am running stage 2's, and was hitting 36lbs on the street.

I just towed this last night!!

When I pulled out in the road, I heard a loud bang an lost all forward momentum! Turned out the axles that were I. The truck were too short and sheared the end off! So I put it in 4x4 and pulled it 30 miles home being easy on it. The torque steer sucked!! My towing impressions so far is you can do it with this turbo with 0 issues, I mean it spooled like stock and I have no smoke coming out of the pipe in my tow tune!

Matt, What housing are you running? Is it the one that comes with the S468 or did you get a different housing. I was under the impression that it came with a 1.10 housing but I have seen you post 1.0 and 1.15 for the turbo. I was just curious. We should have a report on OBS Boysels truck next week, but if you are happy with Stage 2's and that housing, it is making me wonder what backpressure is gonna be like with a set of 350/200's and 2 stages of NOS... LOL

We will have some opinions on it early this coming week with a set of 200/100's, would probably be nasty if it was gated with those 350s and the 2 stages

Maybe it's a 1.10? I know it's not the 1.0 housing because that's what's on the shelf at the shop. Its what ever comes on it from Borg. Ill check tomarrow. I went to the strip tonight and I had a slight puking issue...may have taken out a head gasket! No bubbles in the overflow with the truck running, not sure what else it could be though. If I take the cap off and boost it up with the brakes on, nothing happens until I let off it then some comes out with the cap off. Not sure yet.

I have this same turbo on a manual 2000 with 250/200 and I can echo the spool up. Gonna need some tweaking with the injectors to change how the fuel id brought on....but even with a massive exhaust leak....(my dumbass forgot to put the metal gasket in when I installed it.. found it when I was cleaning the garage  ) love the turbo. Haven't really gotten into it until I get studs and springs in though for that exact reason. Enjoy the turbo!!!!! Do you have any pics of how you set up your intake for it?

The only one I have.

I found more as I dug into the motor...
There is 2 cracks in the #1 piston, one of which you can see in the pic the other is at the 3 o'clock position. Not what I wanted to see!

The firewall has to be moved back alot for the down pipe, the cowl has to be pushed up to clear the compressor housing and the drivers side plentum bolt has to be ground down.

On another note, I got both heads cleaned up and I'm going to put it back together as is. I have another motor getting built next week. We will see how long it holds, it could have been cracked for quilt a while now, who knows.
