turbo problem

ok so about 3 monthes ago after 270K miles my stock turbo went out allot of slop in the wheel enough to hit the houseing. ok so i put a new stocker on it and lastnight bang same thing happend hasnt been on 10K miles. so whats makeing thees go out? did i just get a bad turbo? or am i not geting the oil i need?? help please

How hard do you run it?

not overly hard stays in stock or 80 dd tune allot once and awhile i get into 120 and do alittle romping but it never sees over 23lbs of boost and doesnt get over 1250 for long at all maby a few seconds

Man that's not even close to being hard on it... I would say its not getting the proper amount of lube! My stockers lasted a while and I would hit 34lbs on a regular basis and 1500* every now and then

so how do i check if its not flowing enough?? or if the lpop is bad or what?? tell ya the truth in have no clue where the lpop is.

its mounted right behind the balancer on the outside of the motor..

You most likely just got a junk turbo.

ok today i did some looking and seen some soot comeing from the middle of the turbo. and found theres a bolt missing not just loose compleatly gone. so im guessing it came out and the turbo was flexing there and smoked that bearing. but looks like diesel equipment in potterville mi is going to warente it. so ill probly use the one there going to give me to get my by then sell it and buy a 38r a turbo i actually trust..and maby gain some hp off it..
