As i sit I've got all the basic 6o stuff done MINUS head studs.

As i know head gasket failure is inevitable id like to start collecting parts slowly so i can hopefully have all the crap collected and do everything at the time i do head gaskets/studs.

Buuuut im completely lost on injector sizing #s and could use some schooling.
Also on the fence about going to a fixed turbo

Assuming i do arp's, nice gaskets, have the heads checked/machined flat, likely o ringed. Also prob 6.4 push tubes to compensate for any material removed from heads

Whats some of you guys experience with turbo and injector setups, also a return fuel system/aux lift pump? Is it really worth ditching a vgt turbo for a fixed one if im staying fairly mild? Lets say 500hp?

Truck is a dd, im sure after studded it will see the occasional drag strip or pullin event, also will need to tow ~~10-12k up steep long canyons as thats the only way outta the valley a couple times a year. (Although i usually just pull a little utility trailer with the rzr on it or a couple sleds)

At our altitude i loved the 68mm pmax drove great but for towing i wouldnt recommend it. As for non vgt my 66 was pretty laggy but i think a 363 would do awesome.

Got another truck on stock injectors and pmax that tows really well and has great driveability.

Also tuning plays a major factor in every setup.

Switching away from vgt turbo is a tough question to answer. It is more of a personal preference at your HP level desired.

One of our most popular setups right now is 175/30 with our KC stage 2 turbo. That is a good solid 525-575hp. Spools GREAT. Runs clean and cool. Still tows very well. Has a great turbo whistle sound.

Let me know if you want some pricing. I can get you a turbo/injector combo discount.
