Turbo stoping

Ive got an 05 6.0 stock besides a straight pipe and an sct x3 with looney tunes from Vivian and today my dad was driving the truck and he was just driving on the highway and the turbo just stopped. There was no boost and then he said about 30 seconds later it spooled back up. Any help? Im gonna run it stock for now.

vanes stuck open in the turbo. the turbo didnt stop because if it did the truck would die. take the turbo apart and clean the vanes

YouTube 'Ford 6.0 turbo cleaning'. There are a couple good videos on there that walk you through it. Its easy and cheap, so dont be scared to get your hands dirty

Look at the ebp sensor and tube. Could be clogged up. That will cause the turbo to act like that. Been down this road before...assuming the turbo has been working fine until this point...
