Yes it is a little slower than stock and yes I have never ran it in comparison to a non-VGT turbo system of any kind, but from my experience with the stock turbo, Stage 1, and Stage 2 MTW turbos, the Stage 3 responds just a little slower than stock and will only bog if the truck shifts into OD with the converter locked at 45 mph (~1300 rpm). As long as you can keep the converter unlocked until over 50 mph (~1500 rpm), you won't have any trouble getting it to spool up. Hope this helps. I should note that the one Stage 4 out there right now, builds 50+ psi of boost where the Stage 3 builds about 42-44psi. [/QUOTE]
