Hey guys. Looking for some u bolts. When I did the lift, I sourced u bolts from a local place here that does them. Functionally they are fine....but have developed surface rust etc. I "think" Icon offers some that are not the yellow zinc and arent chrome. Like a satin metallic look.

Any info so I can order? Parts #s etc would be great.

I don't have any part numbers for you, but I do know that ouo has some rowdy u bolts that you might like. I know the ones I've seen from their traction bar kits are just about a piece of art in themselves.

I got a spring shop here that builds them, that's all I run. I guarantee them to be stronger than anything else you can buy. I also don't have a problem with them rusting here in north east mo. I can get you a set for roughly $40 if you want.

sand and paint would be my option. I had a big rig service center make me some with my old set-up, painted them before I put them on, never had any issues with rust.

There is a "black zinc" or "black oxide" coating that they can put on ubolts. If you want, I have have my local plating shop do a batch for you. Just let me know what diameter and length you would like. I bend inhouse, so the only turn around time would be the platers.

I can't speak for the 3/4" U bolts from them but I'm pretty sure my 5/8" u bolts that came with my traction block setup were boxed Icon.

Hey Gare, I might have a set of Zinc plated ones sitting down at the shop. I will measure them if you are interested.

Sure Tony. let me know. They in good shape?

If your not changing the size of your bolts, you could take them to a local plater. Normally wouldnt cost more than $20 or a case of beer for something like that. Be ready to hold your breath while your there though. The air in those places is terrible.
