Up or Down?

Just picked this up last week. 99 F250, Auto, 7.3l. 150k+

New to diesels so bear with me. To me it seems like the rear sits unusually high? Trying to figure out my best route, lift the front to match the rear or lower the rear? I won't be doing any real heavy towing, a car here or there but not all the time.

What's everyone's opinion?

2wd, Lower the back.

4wd, raise the front.

Seems easy enough since it is 2wd, not 4wd. Anything I should avoid when lowering the rear?
