Well time to do brakes on the big rig, figured why not upgrade.

Besides going balls out on an SSBC (I think that's the name), what's the best options?? Hawk pads, powerslot rotors where what I thought everyone was doing, but I'm open to suggestions...

Also, where the vendors at, always wanna give my money to you guys...

If you dont want to go all out with the SSBC kit, which I highly recommend you do, Id just do good pads and stainless lines.

iirc I paid 1200 for the front kit and it doesnt come with rotors.
It includes calipers and pads that are compatible with stock size rotors.

I dont think they have a set for the rear yet

i ran the Hawke SD break Pads and Power Slot rotors on all 4 corners of my 05

it would stop my CCLB on 38s faster than a honda accord could stop

I did EBC Yellowstuff pads and EBC GDP slotted and dimpled rotors. Truck stops great.

The SSBC and Hawk stuff are supposed to be really good as well. Can't go wrong with any of it.

Is brake dust an issue? I used hawk pads on my mustang that worked great but the brake dust was terrible. I'm currently running slotted rotors, stainless lines, and factory pads that work great.

can anyone turn slotted dimpled rotors or are they a 1 shot wonder?

I remember from My past brake pad research that the dusty pads stop better and don't last as long

so a trade off ?

To be honest I didn't wash my truck before I installed them and haven't since they've been on there lol. It's been a few months and my rims I'd say are more dirty than have brake dust. Nothing noticeable at all.
