Well I have been putting this off ever sense I put the motor back im but before I get it live tuned next weekend I wanted to try and get this all figured out. If I park the truck nose down and let it sit over night when I go to start it in the morning it usually starts fast but it sound's like it's about to come apart or like you just did a injector change and its purging the air out of the system. It seems like when I park on flat ground this is not a problem all tho once that I can remeber I was driving the truck all day and parked it for 3 hours on flat ground and I came back and started it and it ran like crap but that was only once that I can remeber. My guess is that where the oil feed line for my back pump of my duals is where the oil temp sensor was and that it is to high in the resivor so that when first start is the oil has dropped just enough to let it suck in oil for the first start of the day and then it has to purge the air out. Here is a video of what it sounds like.

Is the truck running on stock tunes? The reason I ask is that you said you wanted to get this figured out before live tuning.

Second...if your theory is true that the level is dropping below the oil temp sensor port...what would be causing the oil to drain out of it? Do you have the remote IPR on the termy's...or are you running a stock located single or double IPR's? Can you check to see where the oil level is in the reservoir when parked facing downhill and compare that to parked flat?
