I would think if it could be done correctly, it would have been done already. I mean the 6.0 has only been out for 9 years now. JMO.

No worries. I believe the factory Dmax turbo can be used as the high pressure turbo in a compound setup for the Dmax but not the factory 6.0 turbo for the 6.0 anyways. I forget why exactly, it had something to do with back pressures. I'm sure someone with real knowledge on this will chime in.

shawn tried it and popped the stocker, maybe a smaller primary would help.. tuning would be an issue

Shawn told me alot of that was nitrous. If I had a 6.0 I would try it first. Or at least with a modded vgt like your going to offer with a larger turbine

me and mark V tossed it around for a while. wouldnt be hard to try at least, i think a smaller primary like a k31 or s475 would be a sweet add on over a p max. a 62/68 .76 divided t3 over a s480 would be my DD choice of twins like matt @ cutting edge did (similar anyways)

Tadd at Elite has also tried it years ago along with Shawn and waaaay too much back pressure to have a VGT in a twin setup. The dmax and dodge guys can do it but the 6L just can't

its all in the logic on tuning. our computers basically suck. it can be done though. just not worth it. just like dozers said, cant really beat that setup.

Our computer more or less hopes for the best and ask's the engine to do want it would like, if it feels like it, and allows for it to fit into a range acceptable tolerances. While the D-max system (for example) has a whip, chains and full contol of more parameters, as well as the ability to make the engine it's biatch so it responds more precisely to it's commands. I'm sure that's not completely correct, maybe not even close, but that's the way it was explained to me once.
