I bought the VR gasket kit minus the headgaskets. My buddy used it in his build, I'm using it in mine.

I'm replacing the VR head gaskets on mine, reusing all the OE rubber gaskets, replacing the injectors o-rings and washers with OE parts. Ford sells the intake hardware kit separate from the intake gaskets now, do you can reuse good intake gaskets. Havent used OE exh. Manifold gaskets but VRs are one use only and they are prettty trashed like the head gaskets from heat

I used VR and felpro with oem head gaskets when I put the 6.0 together. It all depended on what was the cheepest at the time. Everything fit well and was good quality.

My VR gaskets failed after 6,000 miles of moderate abuse. I mean ya, the truck saw the dunes, the drap stip, trailers, and lots of WOT runs, but they should have lasted longer.

Put OEMs in about a month ago. You can tell the quality difference. There are more layers and they just seem much more robust. Everyone needs to just know the rule of thumb:

When studding a 6.0, use ONLY OEM gaskets. They were never the problem in the first place, it was the bolts.

These have 3000 miles of mild driving and 2 dyno pulls. They are VR's
I have a set of Fords coming from RiffRaff to replace them. Also Autozone where I bought them is refunding them as well.
