Vision diesel shop truck (picture heavy) We wanted to share with you guys what we have been working on over the last few months. Hoping to get out there and compete a bit in the northwest as time allows! This started as 2003 f350 work truck with a 6.0 powerstroke that we got locally. Unfortunately we didn't take very good "before" pictures but we have a couple. They are not in any order, but you get the point of what it originally looked like After we pulled the cab The mess! Original transmission and tcase The classy 03 work truck front end! Curtis thuggin After we had the frame stripped to be sent off for powder coating The original leaf pack from the rear end After we got the frame back from PC and the axle cleaned up and painted. These are excursion springs with no block. Some shots of the great work by One Up Offroad on the suspension. The traction bar kit is their "race" product, as you can see there is a bit less ground clearance to allow for better control of the axle. The OUO coil buckets and swayaway coilovers. The fully adjustable ride height is fantastic with this kit, very simple to use! Next we got the engine and transmission put back in the frame. The transmission is a competition built 4r100 from John Woods with an output shaft designed for the 5r110 transfer case. We are controlling this transmission with a USshift controller at the moment. Extreme head studs and factory gaskets We had the heads o-ringed just in case! Next the heads were installed with RCD Valve springs and pushrods and a brand new Motorcraft injectors that were built into 175/30 by Rykan @ Holders Diesel. You can see the BD Diesel exhaust manifolds that went on it as well! We decided on DieselSites High Output Adrenaline pump for our oil supply A Barder Stage 3, MBRP's heavy duty up-pipes, Absolute Performances EGR Delete, with a 58v FICM. And although you can't really see it there is also a ported intake manifold from Holders Diesel as well under there. The fuel system is a few different kits with our own spin on them. Sinister and Irate supplied the pump, filters, and regulator. Up next was the rear axle. We choose a Yukon Grizzly locker, schaeffers fluid, and Bilstein 5100 shocks to help put the power to the ground. A mag-hytec pan certainly doesn't hurt either! Although we have no good photos of it currently the front end got a mag-hytec cover, all brand new motorcraft steering/bearings/u-joints/brakes. The rotors/calipers/pads were brand new all the way around along with all brake lines. We decided to one steering component that was not Ford Motorcraft and that is the red head steering box
