Ok, I had php rollback my pcm and put atlas 40 on my 58v ficm and I have their 65hp tow tune on the PCM. It ru s great for when I use my truck like a truck but I want a dd tune that has great mpg's and is fun to drive. I like my innovative, gearhead and kem tunes but I wanna know who has a similar setup and what tunes you run and why. I'm thinking looney wild or super panty but I want some opinions first.:ford:

If you want great mpg's you shoulda got a 2wd cummins lol. In all seriousness I run PHP's Hercules ficm tune with Eric's extreme X and I get 15mpg on the interstate running 80 and I have 35's with 22" wheels. Decent for a ccsb I think.

You may have a problem then lol. Running the Hercules ficm tune and an elite race tune I see around 16 ish around town. This is all in Pa, up and down hills, and on heavy 35" m16s.

have you guys re calibrated your speedos for your new rolling diameter? I love how people claim 20mpg with 35's and 6 inch lifts, aint happening.

Yes actually I have. Not saying I get 20 mpg, just saying 15 mpg on the highway isn't very good.

Hand calculated I'm at 16.4 with 35's and a leveling kit. That's hwy with the ac on...it's 95+ and feels over 110.

That was recent hand calculated from Indianapolis to Clearwater Florida and I'm not light on the peddle. Speedo has been recalculated. I know not to trust the lie-o-meter. It was read 18.9 on the way down there. I could only have wished. Btw didn't buy a ccsb diesel truck for mpg's around town. Bought it to pull my boat

I run the atlas 80, and no matter what " hot" tune i run I'm at about 13.5 around town, and 16.5 on the highway at 75-80. Even coming back from morgans dyno day at php with the trailer behind me (about 5500 lbs) running 75ish the whole way home averaged 11.5 hand calc. the whole way home. That was on matts 8k street also.

It might help if I told you I live in the middle of nowhere. My around town isn't like most peoples, and has an average speed of about 45. I guess I shouldn't compare that to you guys. Lol

Maybe I'm just lucky lol. Last time I hand calculated I got 15.9 going back and forth to work. Then again, its a 55 mph road that everyone goes about 70 on pretty much the whole way there.
