Okay, so I have decided I want to bring my truck down to stock height or a leveling kit up front. I am over the lift at this point. I am wanting to go with some wide wheels, wide tires at around stock height eventually. I need y'alls help on the best way to go about this. Currently I have a 4" lift that's all springs. I also have dual shocks up front. So, what do you guys think is the best way to bring the truck back down? I am guessing I will be needing all 4 stock springs, new u bolts, new pitman arm, new track bar bracket, and new front shock mounts. How do you guys suggest I go about sourcing this stuff? Am I leaving anything out that I may need? The only thing I still have are the factory rear blocks unfortunately. I also have Bilstein 5100's, but they are for a 4-6" lift. I will need to get some for a stock to leveled truck. Does anyone know where I may be able to source those, do you have part numbers? Also, should I look for any specific spring codes?

Best to just find someone local who wants to swap lifts.

Just throwing this out there though, going from 4" lift to stock isn't much of a change. Does it ride ****ty? Why go through the pain of changing it out? 4" lift, 35's and some wide tires looks real killer. Just curious...

I am thinking about going that route Layson, as I think that's probably the easiest way to go. Truthfully, with what I am doing with my truck now, I just don't need the lift anymore. The lift was a stiff ride, yes, but not completely unbearable. I am just ready to see what my truck used to ride like. I bought it with a 6" lift, and took some of that out to get it to 4". I am wanted to run a 325/50 tire (33"x13.5"x20") and maybe pick up a little speed and mpg in the process. Plus I see 800hp being pretty damn fun at leveled height.

I have everything you need sitting in my garage. By your PSA name I am guessing Texas. I am in the Beaumont area.

I am in Fort Worth, but I have a buddy that works in Houston for the summer that I was planning on going to visit one of these weekends coming up. Were you interested in a 4" lift? Truck is an '01.

What lift do you got? Wouldn't be much of a chore to just upgrade your front springs. I was on 12" of lift, 8" springs and hangers and it road as good as stock.

Hard to beat that combo of 4" lift, 20x12's and some 35's! Looks killer!

What is have is basically a complete front suspension for a 99-04. U-bolts, pitman arm, trackbar bracket and springs. For the rear I only have the u-bolts as my 4" lift was only blocks in the rear. It's available if you want it. I also have 4 brand new shocks for a stock suspension, maybe 2k miles on them. I had a 6" lift then went stock and now back to 4".

I'd be interested in your front suspension for sure. So would I need to source rear springs to complete the suspension? How are those shocks that you have? Would you be interested in my 6 Bilstein 5100s? I would definitely be willing to sell you the dual shock mounts if you want them.

My favorite stances are:

2" front, 350 block rear - 20x12/33x13.50
4" front, 3.5" rear - 20x12/35x12.50

Some minor trimming may be needed.

4" front, 3.5" rear - 20x12/35x12.50

20x12/33x13.50 is what I am going for. I am looking to get to 2" in the front and just a 350 block out back just like you said.

I'm currently running 2.5" in the front and a 3.5 tapered block in the rear with 20x12's and 33 13.50's. finally got it where I want it appearance wise and don't plan on ever changing. can't beat this stance IMO...
