Well i am in the process of taking the hub assemblies and everything off the truck to try and find a noise, and i think i have found a problem with the passenger side hub.

I have warn lock outs on the truck to begin with.I took it apart and if i put my fingers inside the hole that goes over the axle shaft (gear that goes inbetween the actual hub assembly and locks in the gear for the locking hub) and spin the outside gear, it clinks and clanks and all sorts of noise.

My question is, is this terms for replacement? the drivers side doesn't make any type of noise like this.

I have never had a problem with getting warns replaced. If I'm following you are talking about the small gear on the base of the lockout that actually slides over the axle shaft correct? If so you should only hear the noise if you have the hubs locked in or are in 4wd. Is that when you hear it?
