got a couple tunes from jesse for my setup and am pretty happy with how the tunes are, smooth, very quick firm trans shifting, and all in all good tunes. Previous tune was gearhead srlxx and jesses street tune is similar seat of the pants feel... have not tried the race tune yet. Anyways just wanted to try his tuning, and glad i did.

Anyone else running his tunes? On a side note, my engine is mush quieter than on gearheads tunes- no clanking at all, injectors very quiet,

I have his tunes, not by choice, he was the only one that could get my (warren) injectors to idle correctly. Not "entirely" satisfied, but they are not bad. I daily the race tune it drives like the street tune until you have your foot in at 50-60% throttle then it has early lock up.
Might try some new tunes when I get my new rims and tires, see if they can get it to idle ok.

Not to sound like a broken record but try gearhead. No one could tune a friends truck with warren injectors (190/75) and he went with gearhead and it idles perfect now

When I had warren 190/75 injectors and gearheads tune had a random lope like a miss at idle Matt said he couldn't tune that out of it but wouldn't hurt anything. I couldn't stand it so I had Jesse write me a tune and he had it idle without the lope/miss. Matt did say that with a FICM tune you can get the miss/lope at idle to go away he was working on that when I jumped ship and went to TSD for tunes. Now I have 190/30 from warren and I'm running a tune from Chris at TSD and I like his tune by far the best!

I have only tried gearhead, innovative, backroad performance, and now TSD and I'm staying here for awhile. Matt at gearhead was great to work with he did several revisions for my truck to try and fix the idle and a few little trans tweaks I needed.

Thanks, I'm always looking for new tunes to try, like I said I'll be doing some in the near future, been hearing a lot of good stuff about the WPE tunes. Thinking about ordering up the White Rain (race/full fuel) tune.

I also love my Tsd tunes. I wish I could get my truck live tuned by them but in North Carolina it doesn't make sense. I'd also like to run warren and gearhead tunes as well

Gearhead ftw. My truck is starting to get a small miss at hot idle but I don't care at all. I just don't trust anybody else with my trans. The power is on point too. Never thought 190/75s would take me into the 11s.

LOL... i see you comment a lot about how much your 190/75s make compared to all the other 190/75s injectors out there... if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and quacks like a duck... then it is probably a duck. 75cc nozzles can dump up to 240cc. If you are dropping ICP with 190s, and making power like bigger injectors, and you still have lots of fuel with 190s and s366... then they are probably bigger than 190s.

The whole heui injector sizing is a joke. 190/75s from warren flow 225cc at Holders. Holders 190/75 only flow 175cc at warren. Warren 350/100s only flow 190 at MPD. 155/stock casserly injectors flow 175cc at warren...

Its all about the nozzle size and who builds your injectors. Why cant us heui guys wake up and run sizes like common rail guys. 30% nozzles on a common rail is 30%... there is no 155/30, 175/30, 190/30, 205/30... just make them all 225/30, 225/50, and 225/75 and let tuning figure out the rest like the common rail guys.

If you are running 190/75s, but dropping ICP like 225/75s and making power like everyone else with 225/75s... then you probably just have 225/75s.

If you were making big power on 190/30s then that would be one thing... but 190/75s that make big power are probably just 225/75s

I know they're 190s. Seen the sheet. Most people just don't know how to get their truck to 60ft. Little tires, weight reduction, leaf spring, no sunroof, no power slider, 03s have a more aggressive cam........

This is not a bash on you... but the whole heui injector market.

You seen the sheet? Flow sheets are in the eye of whoever made them, what formula they are using to calcuate max ICP flow (no flow bench flows to 4000icp), and what fluid they are using. It also depends on if they flowed them at 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6

They may have flowed 190s and 2.2ms but flow 225 at 2.6ms

take that same sheet and send them to someone else with the injectors and they will not flow the same. I see it all the time. There are just too many variables.

I had this same conversation with a guy running "155/stock" from a certain company and made power like 175s or 190s. He always hated me because I called him out on it. It came about because he asked me if he should upgraded to 175/stock and I told him no. He might as well jump up to 190/30s or bigger because he is probably already running 175/stock. Well when the time came to upgraded and he went to place his order they said it was a waste of time to go from 175/stock to 155/stock... BECAUSE THATS WHAT HE ALREADY HAD and he should jump up to at least 190s :jawdrop:

We were good friends after that.

Just make sure whenever you upgrade that you go bigger than 225 or it might be a waste.

I think I saw you say 250/100s so you should be good... might as well do 285/100s. Anything over 225s and you have to change out the stock spring so you might as well go big and just pull PW as needed. I hope you pick the s468 because I wanna see how it does. I really like the 468

Just keep in mind that anything over 225s and you will be changing out injector springs about once a year
