Id go 30ft

Are you sure that the ONLY thing you will ever use it for is to load your pull truck ?

How wide is the front from outside of tire to outside of tire ?
That will help on deckover or lowboy

Theres lots of variables here, no real answer without knowing them all.

Where are you located ?

As stated id go with a 30ft, when I was looking for a GN I wanted a 25ft and ended up getting a steal on a 32ft and im so glad I got it, been several times I wish it was 40ft.

I will also use it to tow other vehicles occasionally but nothing bigger than my truck.

As far as width I'll have to measure.

Located in southern jersey

Think about where you are planning on taking it. 40 ft is great if you need the space, but can be a b*tch to get turned around. I'm a fan of balancing your space requirements with maneuverability if you plan to use it for multiple applications. I don't have the luxury of dedicated trailers. Our trailer has farm duties, goes to the track, pulls, and off road parks.

If you know anyone with a gooseneck, take it for a test drive including loading up your OBS and see what you like about it. Everyone has their personal preferences on doves, ramps, storage areas, etc. But I would definitely recommend adding a winch and lights.

I use my buddies 24ft deck deckover here and there. Wish it was 30' or a bit more here and there. If i had to buy my own it would be around a 32' deck, dual tandem axles, monster ramps including a center of the dove popup(hydraulic dovetail if im feeling like spending money) and underbed boxes. Nice 12k lb winch up front, and some good worklights on the neck...

I have a Big Tex 22GN that is 1.5 years old that I need to get rid of if you are interested? It has a 28' foot deck with a 5' dove tail .
