Waste Gate for 6.0

Hey guys Im not sure if this is possible or not. I have a 05 6.0 that I have been drag racing. I do NOT tow with this truck at all just a toy. Right now I have a powermax, 190/100s full fuel system I talked to a local shop about my truck and I have been spraying some nitrous to it. Anyways I was thinking about doing some bigger injectors and a 68mm vgt turbo and spray nitrous on top of it. I need to limit the amount of back pressure so my pistons dont hit my head. Can I build a waste Gate? Do you have pictures? Thanks Guys

you can't build one. but you sure can buy one.

....I thought it was the backpressure that helped the pistons NOT hit the heads...

Where can I buy one at? I have called many places and no one has them. They tell me to try a different place but no one has them. lol Am I going about this the right way? I want a 650-700 whp fuel only truck and than spray it to 800 or more hopefully.

Not with the cab on. The only off the shelf part is the turbo smart gate. The piping needs to be fabricated.

i think i remember some one making one really easy by using the stock egr up pipe and just running a dump straight down.

You are going to have a heck of a time tuning both the wastegate and VGT to work nicely together...since our trucks rely on BP to make adjustments to the VGT, the two can really fight each other...

Not if youre using a strategy that doesnt use the backpressure sensor.

If needing a Turbo Smart gate let us know. We have them on the shelf! They are one of the better gates that we have used. The Hypergate 45 is very compact, and good for areas that are limited for space.
