diaphrams and diesels don't always work well together.

what would you depend on. left or right

I know zero about wategates (just as with most other things LOL ). What determines how big of a wastegate is needed and why?

Probably 100shot or something of that sort

Yes does look like the left is more dependable

My turbo should keep temps in check with 205s and the gate was only 60$ so hard to pass up

Motox what kind of gate is that on the left

Mostly was wondering how to size it properly?

the left side is a jgs 50mm. the right is a tial 44mm. honestly a 38mm will work fine. with that charger you can cap the gate off when not spraying. there wont really be much for room to spray. the only external gate I have left on my truck for driving is a jgs, but they will fail as well if they are setup wrong, like 99% of the ones ive seen.

Eventually I'm going with a set of 265 hybrids that'll should give me plenty of extra fuel to spray with

What are you recommendations for setting it up? I was going to use the old egr location to mount it and run it back into the downpipe

run boost to both the top and bottom port. run a regulator to the bottom port set to around 15psi to start with. the higher pressure you have the reg the sooner the valve will start to lift.
setting them up this way is the proper way. it actually opens the gate off of pressure on the face of the valve.
