Water/meth injection

What are the long term pros and cons to doing this on my new 6.7? I like the fact I can drop EGTs, and get better mileage, but what will happen to the engine down the road?

I think the keys to longevity are not injecting too much of a mixture and not running a strong mix of meth. I feel like I'd just get sick of another tank to fill.

I was planning on 80/20 water/meth. Mainly using it for the cooling effect.

Just use fuel and a good tune.

I had the Snow performance kit on a medium duty cat engine.It did produce a noticeable power and mileage increase,but it used so much water methanol,that in a 700 miles trip,I used over 42 gallons,just a real PITA,since sold the truck,and Never will go that route again .
