I took this as sometimes you are left with extra moisture in the cylinders at shut off and that sitting there over night or days weeks allows for corrosion. By the addition of something like machine oil you add that extra bit of lubrication to minimize this. As I said before it also seems like it would not be bad for the nozzles jets and pump as well. I honestly did not go overboard to investigate it further as it seemed logical and sound. Further our motors burn oil as fuel already so that tiny bit is not hurting anything IMO. LOL [/QUOTE]
