Water pump, coolant flush.

Ok so my water drips a very little. And I was wondering how hard it is to change? I've done them on two older ford gassers and a rx7.
Also I'd like to do a coolant flush. And get rid of the gold stuff and just use normal green. Is there a problem with that. A mechanic I asked if he could flush it said using the green in a diesel is a bad idea.
When I do this would it be a good time to do a coolant bypass filter?

It isn't hard at all. I would swap the pump after you flush it out good then refill with some Cat ELC or the like.

If you have access to an air chissel it makes removing the fan a very simple process. The fan removal will be the hardest part of the whole thing.
