i know it could be a number of things..chaffed wiring harness, hpop, ipr valve etc, but it has done this ever since i bought the truck back in 2009...has anuone else had this problem and had the issue adressed? WHAT WAS IT???

no matter if the truck is cold or hot, it has done this..since 09, ive had all the work done and it STILL does it. had cam and crank sensors replaced and all issues of the truck adressed

sometimes she fires right up on the first turn, others it takes LONGGG crank times..others it fires over first turn but chuggs up to an idle and lastly some times it cranks forever and then chuggs up to an idle....never the same. seems to start better in a hot tune though. ???

i guess im leaning toward chaffed harness???

wouldnt hpop issues be only on hot starts though? wouldnt it be toast after 3 years of doing this? it also sounds like something is real whiney in the motor bay when its driving..like having a hard time operating. almost like a power steering whine, but ps fluid is good and doesnt whine

You just need to read the pressure coming off, doesn't mean the HPOP itself is bad. Measure ICP desired against ICP actual and the IPR duty cycle. it will tell you what's going on. Could be as simple as a bad ICP sensor.
