Weight of the Bed

Planning on painting my frame. Does anyone know how much the bed weighs?

pulled mine with 4 guys, we guessed 150 lbs a piece so prob around 600lbs. (8ft bed)

600lbs is way high. I'd guess no more than 400 for a long bed. I was able to move my junk bed with a buddy. I was also able to lift it on end by myself, and I'm not a big dude by any means. If its a nice bed, you will want 4 people to lift it though.

pull the tailgate first and I bet your at 275+

I'd say no more than 300 with the tailgate out.
My 115lb girlfriend and I were able to pull mine, for what its worth.

We do it all the time, you will need 4 guys (including yourself) that are of average size and a clear path to where you are going to set it, I recommend around it on old tires

I took 2 straps and crossed them in the bed and used an engine hoist to raise it, had my buddy steady it and just drove out from under it.
