I left work today and truck started running like ****, had p1316,, ran a buzz test, came back inj. Circuit low #4, and cylider high to low side open, so I ohmd my uvch's, but were perfect, so I ohmed the injector solenoid, it had okay resistance, so fired up without valve cover, and #4 has NO oil squirting, but my question is why if I tested the electrical side of this and all checked out, would I have wiring electrical issues (codes) but the injector has no fire at all? Any wires I can ohm out that are common for this?

If there is something mechanically wrong with the injector it can cause electrical codes. What do you mean the coil ohmed out OK? If you tested the whole circuit from the uvch plug and it looked good but then tested the solenoid by itself and it was a little off, then I would lean more towards you not having a good conection on your tester lead when you checked the solenoid.

You really need to be checking resistance from the idm plug anyway if you want to test the whole circuit.

I pulled the uvch off, ohmed it by itself, as ive always done 7.3's, and then pulled the solenoid off the injector, and ohmed the 2 prongs, and it read about 3.0 ohms. Is there a diagram of wires to check at i.d.m.?

And thats what i wanted to know, so it could just be a bad injector and that be causing the codes?

It could, but if I where you, I would want to ohm out the entire circuit before I went tearing out injectors. Alldata should have the idm plug pinout. I know it has been posted several times here in different threads. Search for idm pinout and start there with the whole circuit connected.
