Right after I gelled. And technically I don't think I gelled. I was driving and saw gauge drop to 25 psi. Pulled over dumped in 911 and let it run, had 65 psi back asap

Mine does the same thing when I stand on it, pulls to just under 40psi if I get on it hard. That's stock fuel system with the frx with the 65psi spring in. Im in Texas and have never had fuel gell up on me.
Im curious if it would hold pressure with bigger plumbing and a actual regulated return.
I could have sworn I read on here that a guy had a full fuel system but was running his stock SD pump and it held preasure but he said it dropped with stock plumbing

Thing is I don't ever recall seeing less than 50 wot. I was screwing around with boost gauge making snapchats and just noticed fuel psi going nuts. Mines going to like 30 psi

I'm going to replace the pre filter first cause I'm unsure of flow rating or if it's even meant for suction side.

Its. Not running as high as it should also idling or cruising. I used to have a solid 67 psi. Not it's about 63 and drops lowers while acceleration. Pah, ill change filters tomorrow. I just ever remember seeing this much drop.

I cant say for sure what it's at while starting, I always remote start it 10-15 minutes before I leave.

I'm going to monitor psi tomorrow on way to work, drop filters and see what's going on. I may even toss up my new pump the I keep under the seat

Its puzzling though how quickly it builds back up though, I've never witnessed such a drop than recovery

Mine comes right back when I let off the throttle
Boost falls, fuel pressure comes back

Not sure on the modification of your truck, injectors..... OEM pumps are weak. Adding more restriction with pre-filters stresses the pump which will eventully lead to a failure like you are seeing. Replace pump with same OEM (not recommended) or upgrade to a better pump from a PSA vendor.

Thing is I like the reliability of stock components.

I changed both prepump and primary filter today and all is good. I can assume the cheapo car quest pre isn't comparable to the Baldwin unit that comes with the kit.
