Just wondering what you guys use to wax your trucks with? I've always hand waxed my vehicles but wondering if there is a better way to go about it lol

I use Turtle Wax 'ICE" products and apply with the supplied applicator and remove with a Microfiber towel, all sold at Wally World..

By hand right now, but Im looking at getting a dual action polisher to cut the time down. Plus the wax will get put on much better and more evenly with the polisher.

I like to use Meguairs Tech 2.0 wax and in the picture below I like to use that applicator. I have tried allot of types of wax's on the black 68 camaro we have and this works the best. Also use it on everything else and works awesome. Also I am not a very big fan of the ICE Polish. Noticed on my friends truck his clear coat has been coming off and he was using that allot. Stoped using it and clear stoped coming off.

I use a Griots polisher, no swirls what so ever and is super easy to do. This reminds me though that I need to wax mine:doh:

You have a black truck and so was your 02 so you have a harder time keeping the swirls out of it and yours always looks great in pictures. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on one of them and give it a go.

IDK either. He only uses the polish from them and it started to happen. I won't trust it now. But it has been over three months since he stoped using it and it stoped coming off. So who knows.

Porter Cable random orbital to apply. Microfiber to remove.

Had to chuckle about the RO buffer leaving swirl marks followed by the comment of using terry cloth towels.

As said dual action polishers are the best way, also always at least CLAY your paint before waxing..

Doing some paint correction with a DA polisher is also safe and easy.. :)

I used to detail for some extra $ but its very time consuming.. so i got over it. haha.
