What does this mean and what do I do about it? I have never seen this message before. Truck has PIP tunes and 5" exhaust but the EGR kit hasn't been installed yet

By the way the coolant temperature has stayed stable right in the middle the whole time and I've been driving down the interstate for the last 15 minutes. Buts it's also 30 degrees outside. I just don't know what this might be as I have never seen this message before

I remember somebody saying one time that there was some sort of test strips required? Is that not the case once your deleeeted?
I just drain and replace the coolant ,and use the Heavy duty Cat coolant w 50/50 mix.I know the '17's dont have that any longer, meaning the Reminder,as far as I can see in the menu

The reminder, from what I remember reading, is a safety feature/warranty denial opportunity. You can test with strips, replace coolant, or add an additive (I think). You'll get it every so often. You can either test and replace coolant as indicated, or just drain & fill regularly to keep coolant in good shape and you're good to go. I'll happily defer to sport on the specific coolant. I'd put Ford crap back in just because I know adding the same stuff I took out will play nice with each other. I only have 26k on mine and did the test when I got the message, and it was fine. No message since.

It's triggers by engine hours. You're supposed to test both coolant systems to make sure they're up to snuff. If not, pour in the additive. You can add the additive two times to rejuvenate the coolant before it needs to be replaced.
Also, Prestone DexCool is equivelent to the Ford coolant. It turns from orange to pink when mixed with water.

I should have also said that if it's the OP's first time seeing the message I'd just turn it off and go. No way the additive package is worn out by the first service interval.

Thought the same thing. Isn't coolant a 30k interval?

I bought this one used in early March with 94k so it was my first time seeing it personally. before that, fleet maintenance was handled by the company and I was oblivious to it

Oh sorry bud. I wasn't trying to imply you aren't taking care of your truck, I was just inquiring.

Even if you never changed fluids, it's none of business. Your truck.
