Thats what makes your dinger go off with the key in the ignition.

Because it's touching metal still. Wrap it up with some tape and your dinging will stop.

mine was loose and would work intermittently. I wrapped a zip tie around the ignition cylinder to keep in place. I wanted to keep it so I wouldn't lock my keys in the truck.
