what oil are you guys using after dleet

Hey guys did a search and prob wrong forum, but what oil are you guys using after emissions parts be removed? Is regular rotella t5 oil ok because of lack of parts that require t6 or cj-4 spec? I am due for oil first oil change. I have searched bob the oil guy and multiple forums. Only thing I can find is fuel dilution from *** or ticking noises. Any input is appreciated. I am thinking rotella t5 or t6 synthetic or mobil 1 because they are available at walmart.

I've been running the rotella T6 and I love it, the truck seems to love it also. And several guys I work with also run T6. Nothing negative to report so far

Ran T6 on my stock motor and still run T6 on my built motor and have nothing negative to say about it. Actually doing my second oil change on my built motor this weekend with T6.

Nope. I've worked in several oil packaging facilities...I've watched oil coming from the same storage tank filling 6-8 different brands of bottle on the same line. Different additives are blended in during packaging. This is for Dino based oil of course. Synthetics are different. Gas and diesel are exactly the same way though...I used to have pics of several different brand of fuel trucks all parked at the same loading racks at work. I just don't buy into branding too much after seeing this multiple times over the years.

I agree with that to an extent. If you're concerned about the quality of oil the best thing to is just get an oil analysis.

My truck has 96k on it now and I've been running T6 since it was new. No problems at all so I'll keep running it with the recent build changes. I change it at 7500 miles each time, not sure if I should shorten that with increased mileage?
